Pricing is per store — each Shopify store installs and subscribes on its own. Install first; you'll see your scores before choosing a plan.
Questions, answered
Is the free plan really free?
Yes, and it doesn't expire. Scoring your catalogue costs us almost nothing to run, so we give it away — you see every problem on up to 100 products and can fix 10 a month. You only pay when you want to fix at scale.
How is billing handled?
Through Shopify. The charge appears on your normal Shopify invoice and you approve it in your admin — you never enter card details with us. Cancel from inside the app at any time.
Is there a trial on paid plans?
Yes — 7 days on your first subscription. If you cancel before it ends you are not charged.
What happens if I downgrade or uninstall?
Fixes you already applied stay on your products; nothing is reverted behind your back. Uninstalling stops billing immediately. Your store's data is permanently erased when Shopify's erasure request arrives, 48 hours after you uninstall. Yieldso's app embeds come off with the app, and the one theme file Yieldso can edit — robots.txt, only if you gave it permission and applied a change — keeps a backup and reverts in one click before you go.
Will it change my products without asking?
No. Every fix is drafted and staged for review; nothing is written to your store until you approve it, or until you switch on a schedule yourself (the content calendar, or automatic structured-data updates). Each applied change keeps its original value, so you can revert it, and reverting is never limited by your plan. The change log lists every write, with the before and after value and who approved it.
Why is there a product limit?
Syncing a very large catalogue repeatedly costs real Shopify API budget. Free covers 100 products. If yours is bigger, the app tells you it was capped rather than quietly showing a partial picture.
Does one subscription cover several stores?
No — pricing is per store. Shopify bills each install separately, so every store you install Yieldso on approves and pays for its own plan. They can be on different plans.
What does connecting Search Console give me?
Your own Google data, joined to your catalogue. Every product shows what it actually earns — clicks, impressions, average position and the queries it's found on — instead of only a predicted score. It is available on every plan; paid plans add higher quotas and more automation.
Do the AI articles publish themselves?
Never. Article drafting is on the Pro plan, and every article is created in your Shopify blog as an unpublished draft. Before it's delivered, a second AI reviewer checks its product claims against your catalogue data — but it's a review, not a guarantee, so read each draft before you publish it.
Does it help with site speed and Core Web Vitals?
Yes. Every plan monitors your store's Core Web Vitals — LCP, INP, CLS — by page type, so you always see how fast the pages Google ranks on actually are. It alerts you in the app the day a page gets slower, on every plan. From Growth it goes further: it points to the apps and scripts most likely costing you the milliseconds, gives you a fix plan ranked by the traffic each page gets, and collects real-shopper speed data from your own visitors, through an app embed you switch on in the theme editor. No code is added to your theme.
What does it do for my blog and pages, not just products?
Yieldso reads your published articles and pages and scores them for how easy they are for an AI assistant to quote — a direct answer up top, real questions as headings, specific figures instead of filler. With Search Console connected, on every plan, it maps those scores against the questions shoppers really ask you and flags pages that are losing traffic, and why. From Growth it drafts the rewrites (an opening answer, question headings) for you to approve or edit first, and publishes FAQ structured data for your guides and policy pages.
Can it fix broken links?
Yes. The site audit finds the dead links and 404s on your store for free. From the Growth plan, Yieldso works out the best live page to send each one to and creates the 301 redirect in your store once you approve it — no theme edits, and every redirect reverts in one click.
