Redirect & header checker
Trace every redirect hop for a URL and inspect the final response's headers — including the security headers that protect your visitors and your rankings.
We follow up to 10 redirects live. Public URLs only.
Why redirects and response headers matter for SEO
A redirect should send users and crawlers directly to the right live URL. Multiple hops slow the journey, make debugging harder, and can hide a broken destination. This checker shows every response in the chain so you can spot unnecessary redirects, loops, and error pages.
Response headers also reveal important delivery and security settings, including HTTPS enforcement, content security policy, and content-type protection. Use the indexability checker when you need to confirm whether the final page can be indexed.
What a healthy result looks like
- One intentional redirect at most, followed by a successful 200 response.
- No redirect loop or chain ending in a 4xx or 5xx status.
- Security headers appropriate for the site's content and hosting stack.
Header recommendations depend on your application. Test changes in staging first, especially CSP and caching policies.
